Stumble it! Del.icio.us it!

Amazon launched their much anticipated online music store Amazon MP3.  The name doesn’t impress but what impresses the most is the fact that the songs would be DRM-free. So does this mean that we’re allowed to download/copy/transfer the songs to multiple computers, burn, rip, cut, paste etc? Well yes to a certain extent. The good thing is that most big label players have signed up. The bad news is that only selected segments of their catalog will be up for purchase.

As for me, well I don’t care. I don’t download nor buy my music (online) anymore. I have my Spotify and it’s more than enough. A perfect world for me would be where one will have unlimited access to a wide variety of music for free, with some third party footing the bills :)
